There are some moments in life that border on absolute perfection. That was one of them.

The following letters refer to wedding performances by RoseWynde

Well, I just wanted to thank you for performing during my wedding ceremony back July 21, 2001. Your music was beautiful, I just loved it. Being the bride I didn't get to enjoy all you played at the time, but I heard it on the video that was made. Thank you so much. I received many compliments from our guests during the reception and still to this day about how wonderful the music was during our wedding ceremony. Thank you.

Your beautiful music made my daughter's wedding perfect. I wish we could do it again, and I could sit in back, near the music.

The following refers to a memorial service performance by RoseWynde

Thank you so much for the beautiful music you provided for mom's service. It was peaceful and comforting. You ladies have a testimony through your music and the talent God has given you.

The following refers to a business open house performance by the RoseWynde Trio

Your joyful sounds made our open house a real party. We continue getting rave reviews for your music. Thank you.

The following letter refers to a piece from our CD, "Distant Ayres".

Words cannot describe how excited I was to find your rendition of Dirait-On. I was a member of a highly praised and well-known high school choir that did yearly tours. This was one of the songs we performed that I could never get enough of and would sing constantly.Your recording of this song brought me back, bringing tears to my eyes. Not only have you captured the true feeling of the song, but you have done it with such precision. Your dynamics, tone, timbre...everything is perfectly in place. After listening to Dirait-On, I ventured to your other songs and found myself again in a place far from where i was sitting at my computer. Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking.

The following letter refers to two pieces from our CD, "Walking Tune", originally composed for flute and piano by Claude Bolling

Dear Sandy Duffy Norman and Kathryn Cater

Congratulation for this superb recording, and for the talent of both of you. The technical recording sound of the flute and of the harp is particularly extras. Also many thanks to have included these two parts of the “Suite for Flute”.

I wish you much success for this good work and for your concerts.

Claude Bolling

The following letter refers to our CD, "Distant Ayres".

I am listening to your music this morning, and it is almost too beautiful and poignant, but I play it over and over and sometimes ache with lonliness --- me, and aging grandmother whose life is filled with family and comforts. Why do beautiful things bring one close to tears?

The following letters refer to my books for harp students.

Just wanted to thank you so much for publishing Singing Wings.
I am a sixty-year old woman living in Southern California, and have taken up the folk harp since May, 2003. One of my fellow students at Sylvia Woods Harp Center in Glendale suggested your book to me and I have loved learning from this one and plan to use your other books as well.
One of the things I love about this book is that while learning many new skills for the harp, you end up with a pretty piece of music to perform for others rather than just doing "drills" which teach you a skill but leave you with nothing to play. If I am going to show up for my hour or more of practice every day, I like to have something to show for it!
When I looked at the music, it looked as if I could actually learn it quickly, and once I started learning it, I was amazed at how many skills came into play.

Just a thank you for your wonderful books of harp music. My 10 year old daughter and I have both been enjoying playing songs from In Love with Horses on our folk harp. Catherine is enjoying the easier pieces in the books, while I am learning from the more difficult pieces. I love the wide range of musical styles that you are presenting.

Within the past year I have gained 3 pre-teen/early teen girls for harp lessons - lever harp. In my search for new music for them, Mary Radspinner (Melody's Music) recommended your books! I want to personally thank you for your excellent arrangements! I am currently using all 4 of your books, which these girls are enjoying! One of them likes horses, so she enjoys the horse theme book; one likes jazzy, blues music and loves the arrangements in your books, and now the bird theme book - excellent....they are fun to play, variety of musical style, nice melodies and dynamics included, and can be used for recital/performance! They are refreshing to find as a teacher who keeps looking for great music for students! Please continue to share with us your wonderful and creative gift of music!

The following refers to our first collection of flute and harp arrangements

 Hi Sandy,
I am a fellow flutist with the good fortune of having a friend/harpist to perform with. I have recently purchased all the music you have with Alry - Banks of Surlaine, Ashgrove and Simple Gifts. Everyone loves this music and wants more of the same.
